Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

​

Your adventure begins with an early morning pick-up from Arusha. Set out for Tarangire National Park, a 2-3 hour drive away. Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive through this park, renowned for its ancient baobab trees and large elephant herds. As you drive through Tarangire’s varied terrain, keep an eye out for lions, giraffes, zebras, and a rich array of birdlife.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the park, surrounded by its natural beauty. After lunch, continue exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems, including its lush swamps and open savannahs. In the evening, head to Marera Valley Lodge, where dinner will be served and you can unwind in comfort after your day’s adventure.

Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

​

After breakfast, depart for Serengeti National Park, with game viewing opportunities along the way. The drive will take approximately 4-5 hours, with stops to admire the changing landscapes. As you enter the Serengeti, the vast open plains stretch endlessly, offering spectacular views and the possibility of encountering the Great Migration, depending on the season.

Upon arrival, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park’s central region, where you’ll likely encounter lions, leopards, and cheetahs hunting their prey. As the sun sets, head to your accommodation at Engiterata Adventure Camp, where a delicious dinner awaits you after a day of wildlife exploration.

Day 3: Full Day in Serengeti National Park

​

After a hearty breakfast, spend the entire day exploring the Serengeti’s remarkable wildlife and diverse ecosystems. You’ll drive through different regions of the park, from the predator-rich Seronera Valley to the endless plains, where herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles roam.

Stop for a picnic lunch amidst the stunning wilderness before continuing your game drive. Look out for more of the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino) as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and various bird species. As evening falls, return to Engiterata Adventure Camp for dinner and an evening of relaxation.

Day 4: Serengeti to Arusha

​

Wake early for a morning game drive in the Serengeti to capture the golden light of the African sunrise, an ideal time for wildlife activity. After breakfast, bid farewell to the Serengeti and begin your journey back to Arusha, a drive of about 6-7 hours. Along the way, you’ll have opportunities for additional wildlife sightings.

Upon arrival in Arusha, you’ll either return to your hotel or be transferred to the airport for your departure, bringing an end to your exhilarating 4-day safari adventure.

• Deposit is 20% of the total booking amount.

• Deposit can be paid either via a bank transfer or an online card payment.

• A 5% fee is applicable on all card payments (payment gateway charges), this is non-refundable.

• We offer bank accounts in 10 different currencies for bank transfer.

• Once you make the advance payment you will receive a booking confirmation.

Balance Payment

• Balance can be paid via bank transfer, online card payment, or with cash.

• Bank payment can be done 15 days prior to the tour date (recommended 30 days prior).

• Card Payment can be done 1 day prior to the tour date (recommended 7 days prior).

• A 5% fee is applicable on all card payments (payment gateway charge), this is non-refundable.

• Cash can be paid on arrival (USD printed in or after the year 2009).

Cancellation Policy​

8 days and above departure

• No cancellation fees.

​

0 to 7 days before departure

• 50% of the total tour price will be charged as cancellation fees.

• Trek can be postponed to any new date without any extra cost at any point in time.

• The 5% surcharge paid for either or both advance and balance payments is non-refundable in case of cancellation of the trek.

• Solo Supplement = USD 30
  Charged for solo trekkers throughout the year.

• Off-season supplement = USD 90
  Charged for solo trekkers looking to start a new departure in March, April, May, and November. Does not apply if you join an existing group. Does not apply if other trekkers also join your new group.
